Your Role
Research Shipments in the Kuehne + Nagel Inc System.Orchestrating office and warehouse personnel locating / consolidating shipments to be moved and loaded.Working with CFS leadership to orchestrate preloaded trailers to be recovered.
Your Responsibilities
Orchestrating office andwarehouse personnel locating / consolidating shipments to be moved andloaded.
Working with CFS leadership toorchestrate preloaded trailers to be recovered.
Continuous inventory review toensure that it is accurate with freight movement.
Work to drive processimprovements that support the 3rd party CFS partner
Utilizing workflow tools /dashboards to drive visibility of freight movement / completion of lifecycle while at the CFS.
Work within Import Gateway teamto support freight recovery, shipments in the CFS and equipment returns toair and ocean partners.
Check in truck drivers and collect proper ID per TSA regulations
Print paperwork and resolve issues through email correspondence
Understand and follow TSA andUS Customs regulations
Other job functions as neededon the day to day
Working with Inventory andensuring to communicate with the branch to ensure cargo is not sittinglonger than 15 days in the CFS
Team member responsible for theaccurate and timely submission of customs entries for clearance ofin-bound cargo through US Customs and facilitating the delivery of freightto customers.
Follow SOPS for each customeron the correct method and data required for preparing an entry.
Track and trace shipments andcoordinate with steamship lines, freight forwarders and CFS on theavailability of imported shipments
Organize the work area toidentify the status of every file through every phase of the CBP entryprocess.
Primarily responsible forproviding effective customer service for all internal and externalcustomers by utilizing in-depth
knowledge of operational (import orexport) processes.
Manage customer relationship inassigned accounts.
Proactively provide shipmentstatus and notify customers of any delays regarding arrival, delivery ordispatch of shipments.
Ensure Standard OperatingProcedures are available for each account serviced. Follow SOP inperformance of all operational processes.
Co-ordinate with overseasoffices, agents, customers and domestic vendors for timely shipments inassigned accounts
Address customer concerns,trouble shoot errors, provide timely feedback on service failures andfollow up on escalations.
Review exception reportsregularly, identify and resolve discrepancies.
Provide back-up support in assigned departments.
Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum: High School or Technical degree
2+ Years experience in a similar role
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and pallet stacking
Proficiency in basic computer operations, including data entry, email communication, and navigating software interfaces

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
