Robert Half Operations Manager in Los Angeles, California

Description We are in search of a dedicated AVP of Operations to join our team based in LOS ANGELES, California. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in managing overall operations, from order processing and inventory management to financial reporting and HR systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity for the right individual to progress within our rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and evaluation of various systems, including Financial, Order Processing, Inventory, Logistics, and HR.

• Execute and maintain systems, generating Monthly Financial and Operational Reports.

• Oversee the operations in the absence of the General Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Manage daily company-wide tasks and operations without supervision.

• Oversee the operations of the sales order/invoicing processes and equipment loaner departments, including managing inventories, logistics, scheduling, and customer service.

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.

• Ensure all loaner inventory is in excellent condition and meets industry standards through regular maintenance and quality control.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast sales demands, track inventory levels relative to sales forecasts, and schedule new incoming inventory orders from the factory.

• Handle daily bookkeeping activities, including but not limited to AP, AR, reconciliations, etc.

• Utilize skills in Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks, Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, Bookkeeping, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Full Charge Bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliations, Monthly Bank Reconciliation, Adjusting Journal Entries, Month-end Journal Entries, Journal Entries, Post Journal Entries, Prepare Journal Entries, Month End Close, Month-end Close Activities, Month-end Financial, Benefits Administration, Benefits Coordination, Benefits Design, Compensation & Benefits, Equipment Inventory, Inventory Audits, Inventory Controls, Inventory Reconciliation, Sales Forecast, Financial Statement, Financial Statement Preparation, Monthly Financial Statements, Review Financial Statements. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online is required

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas

• Extensive experience in bookkeeping, including Full Charge Bookkeeping

• Ability to conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliations and Adjusting Journal Entries

• Experience in preparing and posting Month-end Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close and Month-end Close Activities

• Knowledge of Benefits Administration, Benefits Coordination, and Benefits Design

• Experience in Compensation & Benefits is preferred

• Proficiency in Equipment Inventory, Inventory Audits, and Inventory Controls

• Experience in Inventory Reconciliation is an asset

• Ability to conduct Sales Forecast and Financial Statement Preparation

• Experience in preparing Monthly Financial Statements and ability to Review Financial Statements

• Must have a strong understanding of operations, finance, and team management

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is required

• Advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred

• Must be legally authorized to work in the designated country of work without sponsorship for employment visa status.
