Job Summary Details:

The Post Event Cleaner will perform cleaning functions while the arena/stadium is empty.

Pay: $18.60 an hour

Shift: Night Shift, hours and days worked vary based on Events

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the stadium/arena and surrounding areas are always event ready.

• To keep toilets and bathrooms up to cleaning standards and always set for next event.

• Report any general maintenance issues or damages to line manager immediately.

• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

• Attention to time management is crucial to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed promptly before, and after events.

• Stadium/Arena cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, removing rubbish.

• Willingness to learn new skills, equipment operation, processes, etc. to support a clean and safe venue environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Stadium/Arena including doors, windows and walls are permanently clean.

• Stadium/Arena floors to be cleaned by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming in between events.

• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

• Gathers and empties trash.

• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.

• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.

• All toilets and bathrooms upheld to highest cleaning standards.

• Check internal/external areas for rubbish.

• Dispose of all waste in line with recycling policy.

• All cleaning materials labelled and stored correctly.

• May remove stains from such surface’s walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.

• Ensure COSHH and health and safety regulations always adhered to.

• Proactively address or respond to areas in need of cleaning attention.

• Complete forms, such as reports, checklists, or audits related to area of responsibility.

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Flexible around working days and hours, including Nights, Weekends and Holidays as needed.

• Adaptable to change.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a large-scale cleaning team

• Work on own initiative

• 1 yr of similar work experience

• Knowledge of basic cleaning products
