Robert Half Production and Inventory Clerk in Los Banos, California
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team based in Los Banos, California. The primary role will be to manage inventory processes, ensuring precise tracking and record-keeping. This role is an on-site position, providing a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and prepare shop order packets from incoming production paperwork for both production lines.
• Audit material pick tickets for accurate recording of materials staged and returned for production.
• Determine raw material usage and track all costs of production including labor, downtime, and any rework/reprocess.
• Ensure that raw materials are issued and reconciled to shop orders, maintaining the integrity for accurate lot traceability.
• Generate production performance reports for input accuracy and verify that batch sheet quantities and cycle count quantities are issued accurately.
• Input paste and diced transfers into ERP system and reconcile paste and diced tomatoes deliveries against release schedule.
• Print in-house labels for upcoming production runs, reviewing weekly schedule and MRP report for quantities needed.
• Assist with printing the shipping incoming calendar and compare with open order schedule from Agility.
• Participate in Recall Team and provide production documents required.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and inventory tracking, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting. Requirements • Must have at least one year of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for inventory management
• Must possess strong data entry skills for accurate record-keeping
• Ability to effectively track inventory to ensure optimal stock levels
• Experience in managing production orders to meet manufacturing targets
• Must have excellent organizational skills for efficient inventory management
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with different departments
• Must adhere to safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the inventory area
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Must possess problem-solving skills to address any discrepancies in inventory
• Must be detail-oriented to avoid errors in inventory records
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate inventory count and calculations.
