Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Louisville, Colorado

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Media industry. Based in Louisville, Colorado, the role involves handling account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure all financial data is accurate

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial statements align with the company's financial position

• Conduct bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements

• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is entered and categorized correctly

• Create and post journal entries, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting

• Handle month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date

• Utilize NetSuite for financial management and reporting

• Manage fixed assets, ensuring accurate valuation and record-keeping

• Oversee billing functions and check runs, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in the Media industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience in managing General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software

• Experience in Fixed asset management and Fixed Assets

• Familiarity with Billing Functions and Check Runs

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
