Overview:
As the Application Services Manager you willlead of team application and systems analysts while providing product oversightfor a suite of core banking, lending and corporate applications. You will workon projects that impact our business. Serving as a liaison between the businessand technical teams will be key. Leaningon your technical capabilities, excellence at troubleshooting and findingcreative solutions will be a strength in this role. You will cultivate a teamof continuous learners and build the next generation of leaders. What You'll Do: Lead Your Team: Asthe leader for a team of application developers, analysts and support membersyou will provide guidance, mentorship and assistance as well as develop andimplement application strategies to support the company's business objectives.Monitoring and managing application performance, availability, and security,identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner will also be an importantpart of your role in supporting the team.Project Management: You will manage the full life cycleof application development and support projects, including requirementsgathering, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. It will becrucial to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices inapplication development and management, driving continuous improvement withinthe team.Manage Relationships: Communication is key as you cultivate and maintain strong relationshipswith internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication andcollaboration. You will provide regular updates and reports to seniormanagement on the performance and progress of application projects, managevendor relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders to define projectscope, goals and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business requirements.What it Takes:Education/WorkExperience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, ComputerScience, Information Technology Management, Network Management Systems, or 10+ yearsof related work experience.
Technical Skills: Strongunderstanding of banking applications, frameworks and best practices; projectmanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multipleprojects simultaneously; ability to quickly identify and resolve complextechnical issues using sound problem-solving and analytical skills; understandingof security and compliance requirements related to application development andmanagement.
Leadership Skills: 5+ years ofleadership and team management with the ability to motivate and inspire adiverse team and proven ability to make informed choices in a fast-paced anddynamic environment.
Communication Skills: Excellentverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectivelycommunicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Previous customer service experience in a professional setting
- Bilingual/Multilingual
- Knowledge of core banking platforms and applications such as provided by Fiserv, FIS, Hyland Onbase, Finastra
