Description We are searching for a seasoned Senior Commercial Attorney to join our team in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, in the legal industry. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling various aspects of Antitrust, commercial business transactions, MAP and UMRP counseling, and negotiating commercial contracts agreements from the supplier perspective.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance in Antitrust matters
• Conduct and oversee commercial business transactions
• Provide MAP and UMRP counseling to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Negotiate commercial contracts agreements from the supplier perspective, ensuring the best possible terms for the company
• Use legal expertise to guide business strategies and decision-making
• Collaborate with diverse internal teams to address and resolve legal issues
• Conduct thorough research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
• Handle dispute resolution processes when required
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the organization's legal interests
• Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize potential risks. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state
• Proven experience as an attorney, preferably within a corporate setting
• Demonstrated knowledge in Antitrust law
• Proven experience in Business Transaction law
• Strong experience in drafting, negotiating and managing Commercial Agreements
• Proficiency in handling Supplier Agreements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments and solve problems
• High level of professional ethics and integrity
• Strong negotiation and client management skills
• Must be a team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
