Junior Business Systems Analysis Professional

Location: Louisville Office (Full-time, In-Office Position)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and insightful Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will be someone eager to grow with us, aiming for a long-term commitment, and ready to make a significant impact.

This role requires a commitment to understanding the core needs of the business, fostering clear communication, and navigating complex team dynamics. This role involves comprehensive analysis of business processes, user needs, and system requirements. The successful candidate will be adept at conducting cost/benefit analyses, documenting requirements, and translating these into precise system specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with business users to gather and define requirements

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to relay feedback, updates, and findings both verbally and in written form.

  • Possess basic knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in business environments.

  • Navigate differing opinions and viewpoints within the team, fostering a collaborative and respectful working environment.

  • Contribute to projects requiring understanding of clinical data, making use of any clinical knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

  • Analyze business processes, user needs, and requirements to identify system enhancements and optimizations.

  • Document all requirements clearly and perform cost/benefit analyses to guide decision-making processes.

  • Formulate and define system objectives based on a deep understanding of user needs and business system capabilities.

  • Devise or modify procedures and processes to address complex challenges, considering system capacities, limitations, and desired outcomes.

  • Validate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and ensure they deliver expected benefits.

Use your skills to make an impact

Qualifications:

  • Comfortably handle data and interpret results to aid in decision-making.

  • Basic understanding of SQL

  • Excellent documentation skills for both technical requirements and user guidelines.

  • Proficiency in using Dotloop for managing documents and workflows.

  • Capability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems within operational constraints.

  • Solid understanding of organizational strategy and its integration with departmental objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships and engaging effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Experience in environments with diverse viewpoints; ability to mediate and manage conflicts as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Less than 5 years of technical experience

  • Experience in problem analysis and process

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of clinical data and its applications in business analysis.

  • Familiarity with cloud services.

  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle

  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$59,100 - $81,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
