Amazon Senior Financial Analyst, EU Global Transportation Services Finance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Description
Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Senior Financial Analyst to support Global Transportation Services (GTS). GTS Finance team collaborates with partners across Operations, Procurement and Commercial Development, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, and other teams to ensure on time and fast delivery for our customers with the right cost structure. As a SFA, you’ll help us optimize our finances so that we can enhance our customer experience even more and navigate the fast-changing business environment. This role will be involved in deep dive and analytics related evaluating tradeoff decision for our Speed investment portfolio and DEA optimization.

Key job responsibilities
• Finance business partner to GTS Operations teams, identify and communicate insights to drive business actions.
• Lead large-scale EU-wide projects, providing finance support and thought leadership to maximize end-to-end value for Amazon.
• Build robust and scalable finance processes and tools that influence and support tactical and strategic decision making.
• Onboard, develop and mentor team members.
A day in the life
As a SFA. you’ll play a core role in a number of projects and development of decision frameworks for investment decisions balancing CX and costs. You’ll collaborate with partners in different areas of our business to provide insights on improvements in our operational performance. This will involve deep diving into data, showing how different scenarios impact our business, and making recommendations to our stakeholders to make business decisions. This role will allow you to work independently, while also working closely with our partners to provide the insights they need.

Basic Qualifications
A degree
Relevant experience in a finance role leading a project or programme and partnering with multiple stakeholders within a business
Relevant experience working with Excel, reporting tools and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
Relevant experience in financial modelling
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, or Economics
Experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges
Experience of working in a large team or fast-paced, corporate environment
Experience of making strategic business decisions and manage internal relationships
