VetCare Canada Practice Manager - Lynden Animal Clinic in Lynden, Ontario

Love animals? Love a beautiful country drive? Start the car and drive on over here! If you were to look up Lynden Animal Clinic in the dictionary it would read - "AWESOME country clinic with a rockstar veterinary team with all the amenities of a large city clinic minus the gourmet coffee shop"

We are seated up in the woods, with clinic horses, donkeys, cats and a few less than polite thieving wooded critters (guard your PB and J sandwiches). Enjoy your much deserved lunch break in the outdoor picture-perfect setting in the shade of the 70 plus year old trees and beautiful naturescapes of the village of Lynden.

The team is second to none and would be happy to welcome you into the family of Team Lynden. We love our clinic and all our clients. Patient care is always top of our priority list, but rarely does a day go by without a bit of foolery or practical jokes from our teammates. If this sounds like a place for you to let your hair down and earn a higher than average wage - stop in and let us show you around to your new dream job!

About The Role:

Are you a natural leader with a passion for animals and a knack for inspiring teams? As a Practice Manager in the VetCare Community, you'll be the driving force behind a vibrant veterinary team, embodying our core values:

  • Come Together as One

  • Always Focus on the Patient

  • Raise the Bar

  • Engage with Empathy

In this role, you will create and lead a collaborative team environment that fosters growth, engagement, and exceptional client experiences. You'll use your empathy and problem-solving skills to swiftly resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Your day-to-day will involve striving for operational excellence, managing team schedules, and supporting talent acquisition efforts by sourcing Locum DVMs and RVTs as needed. You'll provide onboarding and coaching to new team members, conduct annual reviews, and offer feedback and support to help your team grow.

You'll also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice. You'll also make a splash on social media, shouting about all the great things your team is inspiring and doing. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact and lead with passion and purpose, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Experience as an RVT is considered an asset. Candidates must have MGMT experience. Proficient cornerstone experience would also be considered an asset. Please note this is not a remote position.

Let's make a difference together in the VetCare Community!
