Position Overview The Calibration Lab Technician I is responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, and repair on a variety of equipment sent into the calibration lab (e.g., pipettes (single & multi-channel), bottle top dispensers, load cells, masses, timers, temperature measuring equipment, etc.). This role will demonstrate a high level of organization, the ability to multitask and build trust with internal and external customers. Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following: Perform calibrations and adjustments in accordance with approved standard procedures. Clean, repair, and calibrate pipetting devices. Document the calibration and preparation of calibration reports. Maintain equipment data in a CMMS database. Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory. Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone, or by email. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail necessary in a GMP regulated environment. Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently. Ability to interact, coordinate, and communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work using constant walking or motion to coordinate work and interact with co-workers. Ability to work designated schedule. Ability to work nights and/or weekends. Support and comply with the company\'s Quality Management System policies and procedures. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for approximately 10% of a typical working day. Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day.
