JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation is recruiting an orthopedic surgeon to join our Foot & Ankle division. This position will provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care, while advancing the field of foot and ankle surgery and training the next generation of physicians. The department consists of over 50 faculty physicians and 50 advanced practice providers. Our orthopedic program has been consistently ranked #1 in Wisconsin and in the top 50 hospital programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. Responsibilities: Primary duties including providing clinical care with a focus on Foot & Ankle Surgery at our Orthopedics clinical care sites within Dane County. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows will be expected. Participation in general orthopedics call on a rotating basis will be expected. Additionally, for those appointed to the CHS title track, academic responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Academic duties and responsibilities beyond baseline faculty expectations will depend on individual interests and expertise.
