JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Inpatient - Weekender Position - Med and Surg 5th Floor - 32058 Description: Work Schedule: 60% FTE, evening/night shift. Friday and Saturday shifts. This position includes holidays which fall on a weekend. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. The 5 th floor Inpatient unit is a fast-paced, 27-bed medical surgical general care unit that offers rewarding nursing opportunities at a Magnet designated hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: * Help provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional environment that fosters and values collaboration, respect, and diversity. * Join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for general care patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. * Work in a collaborative environment, surrounded by state of the art technology, evidence-based practice and a strong interdisciplinary team. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes. * Collaborate in the development, execution and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care. Work Experience: Minimum - Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health\'s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/simila unit. Preferred - Relevant RN experience. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
