Description

We are on the hunt for a Systems Administrator to join our client's team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role will be expected to support and maintain their IT infrastructure, including their network, cloud environment, software, and all IT hardware. Top-tier candidates will have excellent troubleshooting skills and be very comfortable supporting end-users.

This is a Direct Hire role for candidates local to Madison, WI. A hybrid work schedule with some local travel is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and troubleshoot Windows apps and servers, AD, and network protocols.

• Support firewall and security policies, VPN, and wireless networking.

• Utilize remote desktop tools and backup systems, as well as Office 365.

• Demonstrate your experience with cloud-based platforms (Azure).

• Supporting multiple offices around Wisconsin.

• Working directly with end-users of all levels of technical knowledge.

Requirements

• More than 2 years of experience in systems or network administration.

• Proficiency in Firewall Technologies, with the ability to implement, manage, and troubleshoot network security systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory, including user and group management, and policy configuration.

• Experience with Backup Technologies, ensuring data protection and recovery during network failures.

• Understanding and experience with Computer Hardware, capable of troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues.

• Demonstrated expertise in Configuration Management, maintaining and improving network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting network problems and outages, and scheduling upgrades.

• Experience in Deployments, including the planning, installation, configuration, and optimization of network systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with the ability to manage and support users in this environment.

• Degree and relevant certifications are preferred.
