The Opportunity

The OOP Marketing intern at Abbott Nutrition Spain provides support to the Marketing team in:

  • Support to create, implement, and measure the success of marketing activities and projects for Pediasure & Ensure, overseeing both direct to consumer activations (TV, Digital & POS) and those for health care professionals (Pharmacy and GPs). In the process, the role interacts with key stake holders internally (Sales, Trade, Ecommerce, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Administration, Legal and Regional team) and externally (agencies, vendors) for approval and development.

  • Review following up the success of the materials, aligning comments with the sales force to mark best practices replicate them in future tasks; reviews global best practices to propose the new development. One of the most important tasks within this role is to optimize the approval process within the times reflected in the local policy and seek to decrease the set dates.

  • Participates in the coordination brand budget control process through generating the PO, publish real spending in control file to review accuracy vs business budget.

  • Closely follow up with the Administration Department the process to set up & open new vendors/agencies in the system (contract, Scope of Work...)

Position Accountability / Scope

Scope: Spain , a country with huge opportunity to build awareness in the Oral Nutritional Supplements (ONS) category and trial in Child Nutritional Supplements (CNS)

Level of contacts: Relationships with key suppliers, internal stakeholders (Sales, Trade, Ecommerce, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Administration, Legal and Regional team)

Education

  • Pharmacy Bachelor’s Degree or related careers (Life & Health Science)

  • Business Administration or Marketing degree/master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • Strong oral and written communications skills: Spanish & English

  • Proactive & willing to learn

  • Planning & Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Creative & Innovative thinking

  • Analytical skills

  • Clear communication and active listening

  • Negotiation and Influence

The internship will have a duration of at least 6 months
