GlobalFoundries U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer, in Malta, NYSummary of Duties: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing Equipment Interfaces (EI) and systems within the semiconductor industry. Design, develop and test EI customer requested solutions, bug fixes, enhancements and other Automation Applications using object-oriented methodologies. Collaborate with internal partners to specify and prioritize requirements, develop effective solution proposals and deliver/validate quality EI solutions. Utilize Company factory systems to test and support existing EI’s assigned for greater than 99.00% uptime. Perform System Integration including integrating various manufacturing systems, such as equipment, software, and automation, to streamline the EI processes. This involves assessing system requirements, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve overall system efficiency and productivity. Perform Data Analysis and Optimization including analyzing manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. This involves using statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools to monitor process performance, identify trends, and implement process enhancements. Perform Continuous Improvement including actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing systems, reduce costs, improve product quality, and increase overall production efficiency. This includes implementing Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, equipment engineers, and manufacturing technicians, to drive collaborative projects aimed at solving manufacturing challenges and achieving operational excellence. Perform Quality Assurance including contributing to quality assurance activities by ensuring adherence to industry standards, conducting audits, and implementing quality control measures. This also includes participating in root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts to resolve process-related issues. Maintain accurate documentation of EI solutions and processes, system configurations, and changes. This also includes generating reports and present data to stakeholders, including management and engineering teams, to communicate process performance, improvement opportunities, and project updates, as requested. Support on-going efforts to resolve factory systems issues for Equipment Interfaces.Qualifications: 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software or Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in engineering related job titles. Applicants must possess 5 years of experience in the following: (1) developing software for Unix/Linux operating systems; (2) Coding Languages / Frameworks including C, Java, and Python; (3) Real time troubleshooting and debugging software implementations; (4) Data Structures and Algorithms including assessing, implementing, and optimizing data in a program'scode; (5) : Test / Testing Procedures with developing and executing Unit testing, Integration testing, and System testing; (6) Database Knowledge including creating and testing SQL (Structured Query Language) statements for updating and extracting data necessary to support coding implemented logic; (7) Developing manufacturing Equipment Interfaces (EI) and systems within the semiconductor industry; and (8) Manufacturing systems engineering, including implementing automation capabilities for existing manufacturing systems and applications.Apply online & see complete req’s.
