Aston Carter Ap/ar Specialist in Manchester, Connecticut

Job Title: AP/AR SpecialistJob Description

Join our team as an AP/AR Specialist, where you will handle a variety of financial and administrative tasks including processing new orders, managing customer and job information, creating purchase orders, and setting up files. You will be responsible for reading through contracts for insurance information, ordering new insurance certificates, and working closely with insurance brokers to ensure compliance with project-specific requirements. Additionally, you will handle tax documents, communicate with state tax departments, process rush projects, manage payments, and maintain accounting balance. This role involves heavy work in AP, AR, AIA Billing, Certified Payroll, Budgets, and percentage to completion.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Manchester, Connecticut.

Work Environment

You will be working in a smaller office located in Manchester, CT as part of a 2-person team alongside the Finance Manager. The office environment is friendly and requires a good sense of humor. Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.
