Location: .59 Marie Langdon Drive Manchester, KY

The role you’ll contribute: The Clinical Social Worker (CSW) is to minimize psychosocial stressors that have a negative impact on patient health. The CSW works as a member of the primary care team providing psychosocial assessments, substance abuse consultation and referrals, brief therapeutic interventions, education, short term follow up and consultation to medical providers. CSWs may also be asked to develop and/or facilitate psycho educational support groups. They also provide outpatient individual, family and collateral therapy to children and adults.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Diagnose and provide psychotherapy to children and adults with behavioral health disorders, specifically those disorders related to the patient’s substance abuse disorder.

  • Complete psychological and social histories with substance abuse patients, assessing their mental health needs and establishing a psychological treatment plan as part of their individualized recovery program.

  • Lead group therapy sessions integrating curriculum and conversation that aid in patient recovery and whole person wellness.

  • Develop appropriate curriculum for substance abuse patients and their families/support systems.

  • Provide individual therapy sessions for substance abuse patients as part of their individualized recovery program.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Master of Social Work or Doctor of Social Work from an NASW accredited university

  • Certified Social Worker (CSW) with Board Certification in state of Kentucky
