Description
We are actively seeking an Application Support Specialist who has a solid understanding of Networking. In this role, you will join an existing team supporting external customers. To be successful, you'll need to thrive in a fast pace, collaborative environment. You'll need a strong attention to detail, strong documentation skills and experience working in a Linux environment.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Application Support, including troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of MySQL for managing databases and improving system performance.
• Understanding of SNMP for network management and monitoring.
• Strong Networking skills, including setting up and managing LANs, WANs, and network segments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrable experience in IT consulting, preferably in a similar role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to continually update knowledge and skill set in line with technological advancements
