Job Description
Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to prepare for new employee orientation sessions
Coordinate orientation efforts with BRC programs to ensure programs are prepared to receive new staff
Engage with programs and managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new staff
Support the Learning & Development team in the management of the Learning Management System, including, updating available training, training dates and other relevant material
Support the facilitation of orientation and other training sessions, topics including introduction to BRC’s mission and values and client engagement, as needed
Track and manage attendance for all orientation sessions
Prepare and distribute training materials, such as handbooks, orientation welcome packets and other manuals
Update training materials as needed, including presentations, packets and other agency wide communications
Maintain accurate records of all training activities, attendance and feedback
Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development team as required
Serve as a point of contact for both new employees and program staff during the orientation period, addressing any questions or concerns as needed
Regularly communicate with program staff and team members to ensure training needs are met
Related duties as assigned
Schedule
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in HR, training or related role
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency
Commitment to BRC’s mission and values
Demonstrated ability to engage and support a diverse workforce
Other Information
Standard work hours apply, with some flexibility required for training sessions and orientation activities
This position works in an office setting but may require occasional travel to different program sites
*Vaccination preferred but not required
