Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Operate a CNC/Mill or Lathe on a Bridgeport machine, performing both manual work and using HAAS CNC daily to run standard production cycles. Set up machines, make necessary corrections throughout the day, and lift up to 50lbs as needed. Perform general labor and production duties while following blueprints to fabricate metal using hand and power tools. Collaborate with supervisors to achieve daily production and fabrication goals.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC/Mill or Lathe on a Bridgeport machine
Perform daily operations on HAAS CNC
Run standard production cycles
Set up machines and make corrections throughout the day
Lift up to 50lbs during the course of the day
Perform general labor and production duties
Follow blueprints to fabricate metal
Use hand and power tools to make offset corrections
Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily production and fabrication goals
Essential Skills
6 months of CNC experience
Strong mechanical inclination
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with CNC machines, running a Mill/Lathe (Bridgeport model)
Fabrication skills
Proficiency with calipers
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Candidates with higher-level experience may be considered
Entry-level candidates willing to learn CNC operation will be considered

Work Environment
Work in an open metal fabrication facility that is not climate-controlled. The work environment includes both production floor and warehouse settings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
