Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Candidates will assist in multiple areas, including trimming, mold operating, and assembly. Trimming involves using hand tools to remove excess plastic from products or power drills to drill holes for assembly. Mold operating requires working with a crew on a rotational molding machine, filling it with plastic pellets, running the machine, unloading it, and sending parts to trimming. This role is physically demanding and requires lifting up to 50lbs. Assembly involves basic assembly of plastic parts using hand and power tools. All positions require standing, bending, and twisting throughout the day, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
Assist in various production areas such as trimming, mold operating, and assembly.
Use hand tools to trim excess plastic from products or power drills to drill holes for assembly.
Work with a crew on a rotational molding machine, including filling it with plastic pellets, running the machine, unloading it, and sending parts to trimming.
Perform basic assembly of plastic parts using hand and power tools.
Stand, bend, and twist throughout the workday.
Lift up to 50lbs as needed.

Employees work 4-10 hour shifts and have the benefit of profit sharing, which equates to about 3% of their income, including overtime. Contractors on the first shift receive a $500 gift card for the company's products once hired on, and those on the second shift receive a $750 gift card. The company is flexible with job assignments, allowing employees to move to different areas if they prefer. Additionally, employees are permitted to listen to music with one earbud while working.
Work Environment
The work environment can get hot in the summer, but large industrial fans are used to keep temperatures down. The molding machines make it a loud environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
