Position summary

The main purpose of the B2C Head is to drive the Nespresso's business results and brand image, by translating and implementing the global commercial strategy into the local market. Additionally, the B2C Head will ensure the Nespresso omnichannel consumer experience for Boutiques (Retail) and Electro Retailers (Trade channel) in alignment with rest B2C consumer touchpoints.

A day in the life …

Drive Nespresso's business results and brand image:

  • Design the strategy and ensure the effective execution in Electro retailers (Trade) according to Nespresso standards.

  • Build the strategy of the Retail network (new openings, refurbishments, and relocations) while reassuring seamless operation in the existing Retail Network.

  • Ensure effective liaison with all the direct and indirect Nespresso channels to deliver a consistent omnichannel consumer experience and facilitate an effective customer feedback loop.

  • Establish partnerships with Management of key Trade partners and Nespresso Machines’ Partners.

  • Identify commercial opportunities in the market to foster sustainable growth in the B2C channels.

  • Manage Trade and Boutiques P&L.

Department and Management Responsibilities:

  • As part of the local Nespresso Management Team, drive the overall organization’s business results by making tactical and strategic decisions and building the organization in a sustainable way.

  • Drive innovative solutions relevant for Nespresso by following the latest developments in the field and stay up to date with key competition.

  • Translate the global strategy to local market needs and define initiatives to achieve business results.

  • Ensure that optimal investments and decisions are made in the OP process for both CAPEX and OPEX, in collaboration with Finance, for PFME in collaboration with Marketing Team.

  • Manage Department’s Budget.

  • Align with Nespresso Head Quarters stakeholders and other markets' counterparts on strategy, priorities, and best practices.

  • Improve and implement efficient ways of working in line with the operational plan and company guidelines.

People & Performance Management:

  • Attract and retain talent, develop the personal effectiveness of employees by regular coaching and implementation of learning activities.

  • Build a strong team where team members collaborate effectively and understand their shared goals and purpose.

  • Set individual annual performance goals that provide a clear line of sight to organizational priorities and monitor progress towards achievement of goals by use of the PDP (Performance Development Plan) methodology.

  • Lead by example in terms of Nestlé Leadership Framework behaviors and safety leadership.

  • Advocate for the Nespresso culture by promoting and supporting a happy, healthy, and safe working environment that encourages teamwork, ambition, and high level of professionalism.

What makes you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. MSc in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field will be considered as an asset but is not required.

  • Minimum 10 years in business operations experience.

  • Strong business and Retail Channel understanding.

  • Extensive commercial experience in Marketing and Sales, with a strategic mindset, preferably in a high-end luxury brand or FMCG.

  • Experience in Partnership Management/3rd Party Management/Field Sales Management.

  • Extensive organizational and leadership experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence and coach people with empathy & integrity.

  • Resilience and continuous improvement mindset.

  • PC literacy and strong presentation skills.

  • Fluency in Greek and English.
