As HRBP Operations Director - Manufacturing, you will lead the manufacturing HR organization which includes all plants and distribution centers, globally. You will directly manage a team of Regional HR Managers, who lead onsite HR Managers and Business Partners, to drive people strategy and outcomes consistent with the goals and objectives set by manufacturing/supply chain leadership.
What you’ll do
Collaborate and align with the Manufacturing VP and the Director of Distribution to ensure people strategies and programs effectively meet their business goals
Work collaboratively with corporate-based subject matter HR teams to stay aligned and deliver HR services
Serve as a member of the People, Culture and Communications Leadership Team (PCCLT) representing the point of view of manufacturing operations
Develop and effectively deliver manufacturing HR strategy while measuring progress continuously
Create, develop and maintain a high performing HR team who provide high quality services in hiring, training, retention, succession and continuous improvement that meet the needs of manufacturing
Support manufacturing leadership in succession management, performance and compensation, diversity and inclusion efforts
Lead and counsel to drive continuous improvements in employee experience for manufacturing and distribution employees focused on employee engagement, improved supervisor/employee communications, employee training and development, policy and practice evaluation and working environment.
Ensure consistency/alignment of people policies/practices across the manufacturing/distribution network
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of policies/ practices and make recommendations for improvements
Promote and share best practices across the manufacturing/distribution network
Develop and implement new and improved programs, processes and procedures that align with a committed focus on meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
Lead by example to promote and encourage employees to strongly commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Where you’ll do it
Most of our plants and distributions centers along with their assigned HRBPs and HR Managers are in the U.S. You can reside anywhere in the U.S. so long as it is in close proximity of an airport. This position requires up to 70% travel, less once up to speed. Most travel will be in the U.S. with more limited travel to our operations in Mexico and Canada.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of experience in HR including five (5) years of people management experience in manufacturing or similar environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Considerable experience in lean management techniques and theory
Considerable experience in delivering HR services such as employee relations, organizational development, performance management, compensation, diversity and inclusion, succession management, staffing, benefits and employee experience
Considerable experience in strategic planning, project management, data and root cause analysis
Considerable experience in developing and implementing policies and practices
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
