Financial Planning & Analysis Director Sr.
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Director Sr. is responsible for providing high level financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction to a regional leader. This position will support a complex line of business in terms of operating and regulatory environment, financial arrangements, and product types. The position will have full responsibility for the financial planning and analysis of the Line of Business P&L including net margin and G&A expenses.
How you will make an impact:
Liaison between Line of Business President and Cross Functional Finance, Accounting, and Compliance support.
Presents month end financial statements and supporting analysis.
Prepares annual plan and forecasts along with monthly updates.
Prepares internal management reports and comprehensive analyses of financial and statistical results to support senior management.
Leads efforts with Business Leadership on cash flow management.
Conducts and documents complex financial and business-related analysis.
Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
Trusted advisor/ extended staff member of the Line of Business President.
Provide deliverables, analysis, and reporting for corporate ROI/Investment Process.
Assist in the financial modeling/solutioning of bids.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 10 years of progressively more responsible experience in a high-level financial analysis position and experience supporting senior management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
CPA, MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred.
Working knowledge of Federal Compliance (FAR / CAS) and Elevance Health financial systems (Essbase/ SNOW) and processes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional cross functional relationships
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $147,752 to $221,628.
Locations: Washington, DC.
