Our client, a Chemical Manufacturer , is seeking a reliable Warehouse Technician with forklift experience to join their team. This role is essential in handling material transfers, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Warehouse Technician
Location: McCook IL (Bedford Park area)
Pay Range: $18-$20
What’s the Job?
Follow safety protocols and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Operate forklifts to support production, manage shipments, and track inventory using the ERP system.
Inspect and document product quality to meet high standards.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with good manufacturing practices (5S).
Work collaboratively to meet warehouse goals and help train new team members.
What’s Needed?
- Required Qualifications: ✅ Forklift certification and material handling experience.✅ Previous experience in manufacturing, operations, or warehouse settings .✅ Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of reliability .✅ Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly . Preferred Qualifications: ⭐ Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.⭐ Positive attitude and a team-player mindset .⭐ Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.⭐ Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal).
