The Manager, Vendor Management and Operations will be responsible for optimizing and overseeing vendor relationships, ensuring vendors meet performance, mitigate risks and compliance standards. Additionally, will lead a support team to ensure operational effectiveness as it relates to internal operational processes and vendor management. Finally, can prioritize tasks, rapidly deploy solutions, and provide continuous process improvement.

This is a role that requires you to be on-site at our HQ in Mclean, VA.

Responsibilities

· Provide oversight, maintain relationships, and create standards for vendor partners.

· Oversee support services and operations, including directly leading staff needed for that support.

· Develop and implement action plans based on deep-dive analysis of product line metrics.

· Prepare, synthesize, and present insightful monthly data and operational vendor performance reporting to Operations leadership.

· Execute proactive ad-hoc analyses of vendor and internal operations to leadership that lead to problem solving and business improvement recommendations.

· Link operational metrics/outcomes to business levers and requirements for program management and support.

· Provide operational support for reporting, client and vendor requests, performance reporting, and data analysis.

· Review and approve vendor invoices based on terms of contract.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Management, or related field required.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the same or similar role, preferably in the healthcare

  • industry.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially Medicare and value-based care.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset geared toward the creation, execution and continuous improvement of business development reports and strategies.

  • Exceptional skills in analysis, interpretation, and application to business objectives.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Proven ability to interact and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to exhibit empathy and multidisciplinary thinking.

  • A thorough understanding of outreach modalities and techniques.

  • Ability to tell a succinct, meaningful, and actionable story with data using visualization and other techniques.

  • Possess strong leadership skills with ability to work cross functionally.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills needed to convey detailed and complicated messages to varied audiences.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with ambiguity.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in business or healthcare or related field.

  • Ability to review and analyze data file submissions.

  • SQL knowledge or experience a plus

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional/ legal/ medical documents, policy and procedures, government regulations, and legislative documents.
