Job Title: CNC Machinist
This is a direct hire, hourly position
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM
3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM
Saturday OT available but not mandated
Pay: $27.48/hr + $0.75 shift differential
Job Description
Set up and operate machinery in the department to produce a wide variety of aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings. Work with a variety of metals to mill, turn, and bore parts. Move from operation to operation as necessary. Work from oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets. Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.) to assure conformance to known standards. Maintain records and paperwork. Assure work areas are kept in a neat, safe, clean, and orderly fashion. Notify supervision of problems or difficulties. Follow all plant safety rules and regulations along with company policies and procedures. Will machine mostly titanium and 410-stainless steel.
Responsibilities

Interpret and work from oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets.
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to known standards.
Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
Keep work areas neat, safe, clean, and orderly.
Notify supervision of any problems or difficulties.
Follow all plant safety rules, regulations, and company policies.
Essential Skills
3 years of CNC experience
Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, changeouts, and tooling changes
Blueprint reading
Experience with precision measurement tools
CNC programming
CMM experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CNC programming experience
CMM experience
Experience with Mori CNC machines
5-axis CNC machining experience
Dooson CNC Lathe/Grinder experience

Work Environment
Our facility is extremely well-lit, clean, climate-controlled, and newly constructed. All hourly employees are part of the United Steelworkers Union (USW). No cell phones are allowed on the production floor. The union dues include a $10 initiation fee and 1.45% of wages (Local Union) plus $0.02/hr (International Union).
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57158.40 - $57158.40/yr.
PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year
VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year
RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently.
Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your
participation, 1 year vesting)
HEALTH CARE BENEFITS (effective 1st of month following or coincident with date of hire)
