Primland Resort Golf Shop Attendant in Meadows of Dan, Virginia

Role Summary Join our team as Golf Shop Attendants! The Golf Shop Attendantis responsible for delivering outstanding services to golf retail guests bybooking tee times, checking in golfers, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the Golf Shop.

Core Responsibilities Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Assist members and guests in creating a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience.

  • Assist and follow up with members and guests on special orders and all other retail needs.

  • Assist in merchandising and creating new, interesting and visually pleasing displays, by maintaining a pristine shop appearance and organizing and straightening merchandising displays.

  • Maintains a professional and service-oriented environment in the pro shop by utilizing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment*

  • Have full knowledge of golf tournaments and events and be able to answer member questions pertaining to the events.

  • Book lessons and tee time reservations as needed for the Golf Professional Staff.

  • Check guests in, utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system, for processing purchases, credit card transactions, answering the telephone, and managing the reservation system in accordance with American Golf standards.

  • Follows corporate guidelines for opening and closing duties, including cash handling responsibilities; tallying tee sheet at end of day

Required Qualifications

  • Organized, punctual, and have strong social skills.

  • Should be able to move quickly, efficiently, and think on their feet.

  • Scheduled hours vary depending on business needs.
