Crawford County Human Services has an immediate need for a Fiscal Technician. If you are interested in this career opportunity, we want to hear from you!   DESCRIPTION OF WORK An employee in this class performs moderately complex fiscal functions across all programs and confidential responsibilities for the Mental Health Base Service Unit and the agency. These tasks require strong interpersonal and organizational skills, sensitivity, good judgment, and are date and time sensitive. This position works closely with providers, Administrative Case Managers, and mental health consumers to ensure timely delivery of appropriate services. Work is performed by following specific policies and procedures and through daily assignments. An employee in this position will prepare a Fiscal Risk Assessment, review provider audits, perform fiscal monitoring, and prepare a fiscal monitoring report of our providers for all programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Overtime as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirement: This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
