Anticipated initial assignment is Orleans Career and Technical Education Center, Medina and Niagara Career and Technical Education Center, Sanborn. The individual will provide instruction to high school students enrolled in the BOCES Skilled Trades Exploration Program. The individual will provide instruction in culinary, family and consumer sciences, and essential career skills as students explore various trades clusters within Career and Technical Education (CTE) -- with the goal of preparing students to explore potential careers. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating all instructional requirements in the areas of fundamental career skills and career exploration in culinary and family and consumer sciences. Knowledge regarding or experience with students with disabilities is desired. Work-Based Learning certification and/or industry experience within culinary and/or family and consumer sciences is desired. The individual must have or be eligible for culinary and/or family and consumer sciences certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual with industry experience would qualify for culinary certification with successful completion of three workshops and an examination (if applicable). Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.

Salary shall depend on qualifications and experience. For a candidate without permanent or professional teaching certification, the estimated (ten-month basis) annual salary range is $41,500 to $74,000. For a candidate with permanent or professional teaching certification, the estimated (ten-month basis) annual salary range is $46,500 to $94,205.
