Nike Executive Assistant, Pacific in Melbourne, Australia

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Nike is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President (VP) of Nike Pacific, based in Nike’s Melbourne Head Office. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will perform a wide range of duties. Tasks include diary management, global and domestic travel bookings and expenses management, coordinating and taking minutes for weekly Leadership Team meetings and VP stakeholder connects, and organizing major events that might require the management of venue bookings, budget, ticketing, flights and transfers for employees and guests. Also, you will create high quality presentations and meeting documents at an Executive-level standard, often under tight timeframes.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

The Senior Administrative Assistant reports directly to the VP, Nike Pacific, and collaborates with global stakeholders in APLA (Asia Pacific & Latin America) and US WHQ (World Headquarters). You’ll also work closely with the Pacific Leadership Team and their Administrative Assistants. This role is high profile and visible; you will be expected to build trusted relationships with Nike employees and external partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Demonstrated experience in providing executive support to senior executives within a matrixed corporate environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; can prepare presentations, meeting briefs and meeting minutes

  • Strong interpersonal skills; builds trusted relationships with executives and a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Highly developed organisation and planning skills; displays attention to detail and resourcefulness when managing stakeholders, diaries and travel across multiple time zones

  • Strong commitment to providing excellent internal and external customer service

  • Thrives in a dynamic culture.
