[QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER [Melbourne-Mnemonics-Inc.

[US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED [ [**QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE [A BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent experience. ASQ Certification preferred.

[SUMMARY [The Quality Engineer (QE) will serve in a support role for multiple departments across the organization by monitoring and improving the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The QE will ensure that Mnemonics' products and processes meet internal and external requirements. The QE will ensure that specifications are followed from design to post-production and will assist with process improvement and development while driving customer focus throughout the Quality Management System. [This individual has the responsibility and authority to perform the assigned tasks listed below.

• Generate, respond to, and support customer documentation requirements.
• Collect and analyze quality data and drive corrective action, solutions, and improvements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
• Review contracts and purchase orders and develop Quality Plans
• Interface with suppliers and assist withdeveloping a supplier quality management system.
• Review and advise on engineering change orders.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Assist in the solution of difficult engineering problems.
• Develop and implement methods for inspection to analyze product quality.
• Perform Internal Quality Audits
• Perform moderately difficult calculations and apply results; variability reductions, SPC.
• Will serve as the Material Review Board leader and support the disposition of non-conforming material.
• Provide technical support and training to inspection personnel.
• Plan and assist in performance of First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102. Support supplier FAI or Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) as appropriate. Travel may be required.
• Responsible for participating in the quality management systems initiatives and adhering to all requirements.
