Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Tester our Health Research Inc Team located in Menands, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

The Expert Tester will manage all testing activities, including UI, automated, load, integration, performance and scalability testing for the SERVNY application; manage all preparation and execution of test documentation; efficiently develop test plans/scope, test scenarios, test cases and comprehensive test data; identify technical and functional software defects and work with Business Analyst and development team to log and resolve these defects using defect/issue tracking software; keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities.

Operating under the direction of the Business Analyst, the Expert Tester will:

Manage all testing activities, including UI, automated, load, integration, performance, and scalability testing for the SERVNY application.

Manage all preparation and execution of test documentation. Develop test plans/scope, test scenarios, test cases, scripts and comprehensive test data.

Identify technical and functional software defects and work with Business Analyst and development team to log and resolve these defects using defect/issue tracking software.

Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance as stipulated by software testing authorities

Qualifications:

84+ months

Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 84 months conducting functional, technical and performance testing for web applications
• 60 months performing defect management
• 60 months experience creating and executing test plans, scenarios and test cases
• 24 months experience creating automated testing scripts
• 24 months experience using issue tracking tools such as Redmine or Jira
• 12 months experience using SQL

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $38.00 to $48.00
