The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and monitor the manufacturing and inspection processes within the facility.

Pay Scale: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience

Shift Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Inspector to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.

The key responsibilities of this Quality Inspector include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor manufacturing/inspection processes for components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies that are highly diversified and both mechanical and electrical

  • Perform first articles, in-process, receiving, and final inspections

  • Maintain all records associated with the product

  • Work in conjunction with engineers to provide feedback

  • Conduct continuous improvement activities

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Quality Inspector at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and work to blueprints, drawings, and process and design specifications

  • Ability to complete AS9102 forms

  • Ability to perform incoming receiving inspection and material certification review for assembly components

  • Ability to perform inspection and acceptance of raw materials such as metal bars and coils

  • Ability to understand and inspect to workmanship standards: IPC/WHMA 620, IPC J-STD 001 preferred
