Description

A Business Manager to the Managing Director (MD) of AWS Mexico plays a crucial role in supporting the MD and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. The Business Manager acts as a strategic partner and right-hand person to the MD, taking on a wide range of responsibilities.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Strategic planning: The BM works closely with the MD to develop and implement strategic plans for the company, aligning them with the overall goals of AWS globally.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
