We are searching the best talent for a Sr Data Steward that can be in Mexico City , Panama, Bogota or Sao Paulo.
Purpose: Your role as a Sr. Data Steward is crucial to our mission at Johnson & Johnson. We seek the best talent for our Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Latin America, where you will play a pivotal part in the data and digital transformation of the region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data life-cycle management
Manage processes to support acquisition, integration, and distribution of data.
Handle current inventory of data, ensure appropriate usage of data, and establish metrics to measure the quality of data.
Create and update data catalogs to provide a comprehensive view of the data inventory.
Data QualityoAssess data quality requirements.
Track and Evaluate data quality issues under a DQ CI framework:
Data Quality Improvement Lifecycle.Manage & Communicate to BACI Team members Data Validation in place and in-progress.Determine business impact level for data quality issues.Prevent and/or timely resolve problems regarding the quality of the data under their responsibility.Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions (Process, People and Technology)Develop process improvements to enhance overall data quality. It includes address with IT tools and technology solutions.Develop and execute data cleanup process.oWork with IT, BACI, CoEs or other Business stakeholders to work and implement recommendations on data issues.Work with other BACI member and business to define acceptable levels of data quality.Design and monitor data quality scorecards.
Data GovernanceEstablish the tasks to ensure data governance from the business, operational, technical and project point of view.Establish, promote, and implement data governance rules, policies, and standards.Identify and track Key business terms (based on priority)
Project/Product ManagementLead in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing our data stewardship projects/products.Backlog / Project Scope ManagementRisk Management: Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate and ensure the project stays on track.Communication: ensure communication flows effectively between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data management analysis, statistics, or a related field.
Desirable: deep knowledge of datasets, data management practices (including tools and processes), and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Confirmed experience with commercial data sources in the pharmaceutical industry: CRM (Veeva), Market Audits, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Digital Omnichannel strategy and execution.
Experience interpreting and organizing large amounts of data.
Display good research and organizational abilities.
Strong technical skills - including Excel, SQL, Qlik Sense, Python, or Power BI
Fluent English is desirable.
Portuguese and/or Spanish is necessary
