DEPARTMENT OF UROLOGY

AS SISTANT PROFESSOR OF CLINICAL UROLOGY

JOB DESCRIPTION

Function as a member of the full-time faculty of the Department of Urology reporting directly to the Chairman with the following specific responsibilities:

Function as an attending physician at Miami Veterans Affairs Hospital and Clinics including responsibility for coverage of inpatient cases and operating room supervision of residents as well as outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Center.

Cover on-call services for all affiliated hospitals through the University of Miami Clinical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan including University of Miami Hospital and Clinics/Sylvester Cancer Center Clinic, University of Miami Hospital (UMH) , Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH), and VA Hospital.

Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school, completion of approved urology residency training program, licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine, Board-certified/Board-eligible in urology.
