Sulzer is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive profitable sales of Turnaround Services and Tower Field Services to current and prospective clients in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, and Norway.
This is a remotely based role with the main contact office being Middlesbrough, UK.
Your primary objective will be to develop opportunities for combined Turnaround Services and Tower Field Sales while focusing on generating replacements for existing installed bases and competitor components. Join us and play a pivotal role in strengthening Sulzer's market position and value proposition.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Identify and generate sales opportunities within the prescribed territory for Turnaround Services and Tower Field Services to grow the sales pipeline
Promote Tower Field Services for customer turnaround events and projects, including installation and supervision services
Develop opportunities for collaboration between Turnaround Services and Tower Field Sales
Conduct regular visits to current and prospective customers in the prescribed territory to understand their needs, turnaround plans
Proactively track major plant turnaround and shutdown events to plan customer visits and calls accordingly, utilizing company tools and market data where possible
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the field of turnaround or industrial services
Strong understanding of the industrial sector, particularly in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, and Norway markets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Flexibility and adaptability to travel as required within the prescribed territory
