Description
Robert Half is currently hiring a Software Engineer for our client in Madison, WI. In this role you will be tasked with developing and maintaining full stack applications across projects. You'll work closely with a diverse team of tech leads, developers, product owners, QA, and coordinators on a regular basis and be an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with tech leads, developers, product owners, QA, and coordinators regularly to ensure the success of projects
• Develop and maintain backend systems for integration projects, ensuring their efficient and effective functioning
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using programming languages such as Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of payment systems
• Utilize your strong proficiency in JavaScript to build dynamic and scalable web applications
• Apply your practical experience with TypeScript in typing and object-oriented programming
• Leverage your expertise in integrating payment systems and/or payment providers for the benefit of our projects.
Requirements • Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
• Demonstrable experience with React.js for front-end development.
• Extensive knowledge in Node.js for back-end development.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL for database management.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrable ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
