Job Description: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Storeroom Clerk is essential in supporting plant operations by overseeing all daily storeroom activities. This position is part of a customer service organization that manages storeroom operations efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all tasks related to the daily management of supplies and services in the storeroom.
Handle the replenishment process to maintain adequate stock levels.
Manage the repair and return process for items.
Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Oversee the shipping and receiving of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Ensure items are properly stocked and re-stocked as necessary.
Prepare kits of parts for maintenance tasks.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs on stocked items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storeroom.
Collaborate with outside vendors and engineers on project-related storeroom activities.
Seek ways to improve cost and service levels by adjusting stock levels, identifying alternative items, and making stock decisions.
Participate in Level I meetings to discuss storeroom operations.
Prepare reports and records as needed, with proficiency in using CMMS (SAP), Excel, and other computer software.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in inventory management, including inventory control and cycle counting.
Experience with SAP and other computerized inventory systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in inventory management is a plus.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
Forklift certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
