At Parkside Utility Construction , as a Coordinator Quality Control Field, you’ll help ensure construction or installation work meets standards by performing inspections, conducting tests, and monitoring compliance throughout projects. You’ll address and document issues, and assist teams in implementing improvements to maintain quality outcomes.

What you’ll do as a Coordinator Quality Control Field
Inspect and analyze local traffic conditions.
Investigate field conditions, and determine the need for new traffic control installations, or themodification or replacement of existing installations.
Investigate complaints and reports of potential traffic hazards.
Review work zone traffic control.
Prepare reports.
Initiate and prepare work orders.
Makes field inspections to ensure work was completed in accordance with prepared plans and specifications.Perform administrative tasks like scheduling and coordinating with teams
Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
Prior experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (preferred)
Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance and the location of underground utilities (preferred)
Able to read and interpret utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, as well as blueprints to ensure work performed is according to contract requirements
Proficient with computer skills
Strong written and oral communication skills required
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walking, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
Occasionally: work at heights, use ladder, life greater than 55 pounds
Salary Range $22.00 to $25.00 an hour
