Syncreon Technology (USA) LLC Industrial Engineer (Job Code: 1009) in Middletown, Pennsylvania

Responsible for providing leadership and support to continuous improvement initiatives at the plant level, including work studies to analyze work systems, developing standards, allowances and/or improvements to existing systems, providing input for the development of functional layouts that minimize space, material transit, and distance, providing flexibility for expansion, and using simulation software to analyze and/or improve work systems; assess ergonomic factors in work systems and provide solutions/design factors to minimize Repetitive Motion Injuries (RMIs) and accommodate the functional range of workers; develop and implement Lean engineering tools and review work methods and work station designs, and document process methods; conduct analysis and make recommendations to improve labor utilization, material flow and capacity planning; responsible for process simulation, project management and methods analysis; utilize Six Sigma, Lean Techniques, Value Stream Mapping, Statistical Analysis, Continuous Improvement, AutoCAD, PowerBI, and MOST analysis to perform duties; use and analyze Lean standards in everyday assignments including line balancing, PFEP, value stream maps, engineering studies, and resource requirement sheets; provide input for the development of process FMEAs and control plans for existing and potential work systems; research, justify, and recommend the purchase of capital expenditures; provide support as necessary for STD work, 5s, TPM, JIT, and mistake proofing; update layouts using AutoCAD LT; regularly maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOMs); review engineering change orders, run changes, model year changes and update BPMs as necessary; provide input on the development and/or revision of various policies or standard operational procedures; assist in new business launches in area of expertise; use MOST analysis to perform time and motion studies; and perform cost-benefit analysis for the introduction of new technology.

Location: 140 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown, PA 17057;

Salary: $74,800 per year;

 

Education: Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

 

Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Manufacturing Engineer, as an Operations Engineer, or in a related occupation;

 

Other Requirements: Experience must include six (6) months' use of all the following: Six Sigma, Lean Techniques, Value Stream Mapping, Statistical Analysis, Continuous Improvement, AutoCAD, PowerBI, and MOST analysis.

 

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
