Medtronic Intern: Associate Marketing Western Europe in Milan, Italy

As Associate Marketing Intern of Aortic in EMEA, you will be responsible for driving marketing programs to accelerate aortic disease therapy.

Under supervision, you will design and implement marketing strategies which may include establishing marketing plans, therapy development, competitive strategy and product management. Also you will conduct and interpret market research results to inform product strategy and positioning, as well as interface with country marketers in development of marketing plan and provide ongoing support with therapy and product expertise.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Implement marketing strategies, including digital orchestration and performance tracking

  • Assist marketing initiatives with regional teams to foster partnerships, differentiate our brands and achieve business objective

  • Collaborate with country marketers and sales forces to ensure successful local execution

  • Inform decisions with market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights

  • Demonstrate both individual and team-oriented approaches in recommending strategies, scheduling projects, estimating costs, and overseeing project completion

  • Additional responsibilities may involve supporting congress activities, expert boards, creating and disseminating marketing collaterals, and offering insights for future marketing endeavors

Must Haves:

  • Recent graduate or in final year of master's degree studies: either in Biomedical Engineering, Management, Marketing, Business, Economics, or related fields

  • Excellent English reading and writing skills

  • Proficient with the Office suite (Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint)

  • High performing self-starter, with a proven track record of project execution

  • Strong work ethic and drive for results

  • Strategic thinking skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Passion for reaching milestones and a desire to Excel

  • Collaborative nature with the ability to influence others to drive project execution

Nice to Haves

  • Proficiency in Marketing Analytics is desirable

  • Familiarity with Power BI and Tableau dashboards is advantageous

  • Other languages are considered a plus

Program Details:

  • Start date: as soon as possible

  • Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend

  • Based in: Italy, preferably in Milan

  • Working model: in Milan – hybrid

  • Other cities - remote

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week
