We are looking for a result-driven, self-starter, entrepreneurial, analytical and customer-obsessed Sr. Business Developer for Italy. This is an opportunity to join a new team in the Amazon logistics business. We are looking for a highly-driven, entrepreneurial, analytical and customer-obsessed Sr. Business Developer for Italy.
You will be joining the team recently launched in Italy and will be responsible for the commercial activity for Enterprise companies, reaching out to new prospect and negotiating with them to onboard in the program. You will also collect market and customers insights to ensure we continue to improve our product and delight our customers.

You have extensive experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Product and Tax
You have very strong sales skills and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and revenue targets
You are able to communicate with senior leaders in a clear, concise and structured manner - particularly in written form
You can easily shift from strategic thinking to rolling up your sleeves and executing, in order to deliver result
This role will be based in Milan and with moderate travel (maximum 25%).
Italian speaking is a requirement
Key job responsibilities
Deliver Results: identify strong prospects and close successful deals with them.
Customer relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationship with our potential future strategic customers
Cross-functional collaboration: Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Technical
Dive deep: Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas
Invent and Simplify: Analyse current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Extensive experience in business development, sales and account management, ideally in the B2C express parcel delivery industry
Demonstrated ability in managing commercial relationships with Enterprise level companies
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Strong ownership, bias for action
Ability to Dive Deep and deal with large sets of data
Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership
Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Experience in the B2C parcel delivery industry
Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, eLearning tools
