Oracle Senior Consultant - Financial Consolidation in MILANO, Italy

Summary:

The Senior Consultant - Financial Consolidation plays a pivotal role in assisting clients with optimizing and streamlining their financial consolidation processes. You will leverage your expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting regulations, and consolidation software to deliver effective solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with clients across industries, and contribute to the success of a growing team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage financial consolidation projects for clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion within budget.

  • Analyze client requirements, identify areas for improvement, and design efficient consolidation processes.

  • Implement and configure consolidation software solutions, such as Oracle FCCS, Narrative Reporting, Account Reconciliation

  • Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients on the new consolidation processes and software functionalities.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, etc.) and ensure consolidated financial statements comply.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement within consolidation cycles.

  • Stay current on industry best practices, new consolidation technologies, and regulatory updates.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all consolidation matters.

  • Document project plans, procedures, and solutions for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial consolidation

  • Proven experience in managing financial consolidation projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards for consolidated financial statements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement efficient solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with financial consolidation software (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion Consolidation, SAP, Tagetik, OneStream, etc.) highly preferred.

  • French speaking will be a plus
