Aerotek Draw/Strand Operator in Milford, New Hampshire

Job Title: Cable Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Draw/Strand Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery to produce power cables according to customer specifications. You will be running machinery along the line within a manufacturing facility that produces overhead and underground cables for various industries. Your role will include ensuring that the machine is set up properly and runs smoothly during production, as well as altering machine settings to match specific cable specifications. This position involves 24/7 cable production, thus requiring consistent operator coverage. You will need to read and interpret gauges, use measurement and hand tools, and apply basic math skills. Forklift operation experience is preferred but not necessary.
