Description
Milton High School is seeking a dynamic short-term high school math teacher substitute to be an integral part of an innovative team designed to meet the needs of high school students. The candidate will possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, be strongly committed to the success of all students, understand the value of collaboration, and be ready to collaborate with a team that includes other teachers and team teachers.
Math substitute teacher candidates are encouraged to have high school experience and be knowledgeable in effective instruction and school improvement practices at the high school level. The ideal candidate has working knowledge and experience with implementing Restorative Practices as solid components of classroom student management. The candidate is committed to working in a district striving to become anti-racist and focused on equity in the school setting.
This position is for approximately 30 days, beginning May 1, 2025. The minimum pay is \$112.5 daily for unlicensed or \$127.5 for a licensed substitute.
Position Requirements
Current and valid Educators License with a high school math endorsement
Bachelors Degree
Citizenship, residency, or work visa
