DIRECT SUPPLY Business Analyst Intern in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them. As a Business Analyst Intern, you\'ll work with business partners to align business strategy with the information technology (IT) vision. You will own a project, which will include gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You will formulate and define the scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. You will receive training as well as mentoring from colleagues on your teams.Examples of projects include: Investigate and assess new markets; Develop business plans for new products and services; Build strategies to address changes within our core market. This is a summer internship, accommodating a full-time schedule during the summer. The position has the potential for ongoing summer opportunities for the duration of the student\'s academic career and may lead to a full-time role for the superior performer. Competencies & Skills Needed: Adept with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment Strong written and oral communication skills* Proactive and self-motivated Demonstrated knowledge of marketing methodologies and tactics, including advertising, email and web marketing, social media, public relations, etc. Demonstrated creative/ abstract thinking and effective problem-solving skills What You\'ll Do and Impact: Own and execute the assigned project(s); including research, planning, information gathering, problem solving, and project implementation. Identify/document how the project interacts to support business processes. Apply both a business and a technology perspective to understand the big picture of the enterprise along with a good understanding of organizational processes and IT resources. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into requirements. Use knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify application information systems. Analyze and document business processes and metrics, and identify improvement opportunities. Work with product owners and end-users to document and specify new system features, enhancements, or changes.
