What we need: Brady Corp is looking for a problem solving, analytical and tech savvy intern eager to work in a cross disciplinary position for some of the departments that Customer Operations (Customer Service, Continues Improvement). The Customer Operations will work with the team to handle multiple cross functional projects aimed at process improvement through a DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement, Control) approach. The intern will also be supporting in doing the tasks and pull reporting to support the Customer Service team. What you’ll be doing: Use Lean principles to define and improve key metrics. Run reports to analyze data from web applications to display trends. Create proactive schedules to reduce foreseeable interruptions. Assist and eventually lead Lean Daily Management meeting reporting. Accountable to drive goals through individual metrics and a strong understanding of department, team, and individual goals. Helping to map cross functional processes to ensure a positive customer experience. Learn what tasks are and what the purpose is. Getting hands on experience in the tools we use to run the business (SAP, Salesforce etc.). What you’ll need to be successful: Sophomore standing or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree and in good academic standing. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google Suite (Sheets and Docs). Ability to problem solve, apply critical thinking and analysis. Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions independently. Ability to work with all levels of the organization. Ability to multitask. Strong attention to detail. Highly adaptable to a changing, fast paced environment. #LI-Onsite
